Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
• Be a Myanmar citizen
• Be at least 20 years old on 22 October 2025
• Not be employed currently or within the past 6 months by IH Yangon-Mandalay or IH Bangkok
• Have a minimum English level of C1 (advanced) or equivalent
• Be able to demonstrate genuine financial need or limited access to professional development opportunities
• Show clear motivation, responsibility, and readiness to complete an intensive course
• Be available to attend the Online CELTA course in full (including all live sessions and assignments)
• Be able to participate in the CELTA course in February, March or April 2026
• Have completed secondary education

Application Process
1️⃣ Initial application: Complete the scholarship form.
2️⃣ Interview: Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview.
3️⃣ CELTA course application: Finalists will then apply directly for the Online CELTA with IH Bangkok.
4️⃣ Scholarship confirmation: Scholarships will be awarded to candidates who are officially accepted onto the CELTA course.
⚠️ If a selected candidate is not accepted by IH Bangkok, the scholarship will be offered to another eligible applicant.

Terms and Conditions
By applying for this scholarship, you agree to the following:
• The scholarship covers the full CELTA course fee.
• The course needs to be completed online.
• Scholarships are non-transferable, non-deferrable, and non-exchangeable for cash.
• ✅ All scholarship offers are conditional on CELTA acceptance by IH Bangkok.
• Recipients must commit to completing the course in full, participating actively throughout, and passing the course.
• ❌ If a recipient withdraws from the course or fails to achieve the certification, the scholarship will be revoked and the course fees need to be repaid in full.
• Scholarship recipients agree to share a brief testimonial or reflection after completing the course to support future scholarship opportunities.
